Hello and welcome to our website. The Women’s Institute is the largest women’s organisation in the UK. It was formed in 1915 to champion the education and rights of women. Chesham Bois is a district of Amersham in Buckinghamshire. Chesham Bois WI (CBWI) is part of the Buckinghamshire Federation of Women’s Institutes which is one of 70 federations throughout the country. CBWI was formed in 1970 and we meet once a month to enjoy a varied programme of entertaining speakers, outings, activities and events. We make new friends, have fun and learn something new.
In time-honoured Women's Institute tradition we debate and vote on campaigns and resolutions, support local charities and get involved in local village activities. Our special interest groups meet regularly providing more opportunities to get together. A monthly newsletter called 'Bucks News' detailing WI news and forthcoming events across Buckinghamshire is emailed to Bucks members. WI Life a monthly magazine showcasing national activities and events is sent to every member.

Location
CBWI meets at Amersham Free Church, Woodside Road, Amersham, on the second Tuesday of the month at 8.00pm.
We also meet for coffee every Tuesday morning from 10.30am at The Beech House in Hill Avenue, you are very welcome to join us. |
